IT is a moment when we must seriously consider our position in Europe.
Should Britain continue to stay on the fringes, and accept diluted influence as a result?
Or should we throw ourselves into the challenge to reform the innately corrupt democratic traditions that have cost us so dear?
We are not talking about the final draft of the new European Union constitution here, but something much more crucial.
The Eurovision Song Contest.
Some say British entry Jemini's nil points in the Latvian sing-off was down to the duo singing a terrible song out of tune, but we know it was all a European plot to humiliate us.
So should Britain take part next year? May we be the first to demand a referendum on this crucial issue.
