BLIMEY. I said I was tired of these new shock-rock bands that think they are doing something new for a new generation (think Marilyn Manson was the first rocker in a dress behaving that way? Think Alice Cooper). I take it back.
Turbonegro are best described as Motorhead meets the Village People at a Max Factor party. Reformed last year after splitting in 1998, these Norwegian "punks" are back with a challenge to nu-metal. They are more like Twisted Sister, Judas Priest or lyrically Frank Zappa, but even more OTT, and so long as you remember that this is tongue-in-cheek, you may find you like it.
