Bootham School pupil Kate Empson has completed a hat-trick of York Tyke Tennis titles.
She triumphed in the Under-16 section for the third year running at Bootham, who hosted the finals.
Empson, who plays for Poppleton and Bishopthorpe Tennis Clubs, beat St Peter's School pupil Georgie Duke 6-4 in the final.
Bootham's head of physical education, Lis Hooley, said: "Kate is a talented tennis player and we were all thrilled to see her win again this year."

Girls U14: Roz Madgwick (Stillington/Easingwold) bt Chloe McLaren (Fulford/Fulford) 6-4.
Girls U16: Kate Empson (Poppleton/Bishopthorpe/ Bootham) bt George Duke (St Peters Sch) 6-4.
Queen Margaret School, Escrick, pupils Nicola Wilson and Claire Forsythe won the North Yorkshire U14s tennis tournament at Thirsk, beating their Ripon Grammar School opponents 6-1 in the final.
Sixteen couples took part in the event, which was the first time it had been held for U14s.
