A DRIVE to retain Post Office services by offering advice to benefit claimants is set to arrive in York.
The Post Office Carry on Collecting Campaign, aims to advise benefit claimants how they can continue to collect their benefits, in cash, free of charge from their local Post Office.
The roadshow will arrive in Parliament Street tomorrow.
Thirteen million benefit claimants currently collect some benefits, pensions and tax credits from their Post Office.
Graham Halliday, financial and banking services director of Post Office Ltd, said:
"The Carry on Collecting roadshow offers local people a chance to get more information about their options over a cup of tea and to find out how
they can continue to collect their benefits in cash at a Post Office branch.
"We want our customers to keep collecting their benefit from us, through the trusted and friendly face-to-face service we provide.
