CASTLE Howard will be transformed into another familiar stately home when drama students take over next month.
Ratty, Mole, Toad and Badger will be running amok in their real life Toad Hall for an open-air performance.
Each scene will be performed in different locations around the house and gardens.
The audience will have to keep up as the actors, from Park Lane College, Leeds, will be performing each scene in a different location - even out on the water and running amok inside the house.
Toad Of Toad Hall is on from Tuesday, June 3, to Sunday, June 15, and tickets cost £12 for adults and £8 for children, including entrance to Castle Howard
For more information phone the box office on 0113 2162232 or Castle Howard on 01653 648333.
Meanwhile, events at Castle Howard will take on a continental feel in July when the first international One Man And His Dog competition is filmed at Castle Howard.
The BBC programme will be recorded on Saturday, July 19, from 2pm to 5pm, and Sunday, July 20, from 10am to 5pm.
There will be three teams of sheepdog trials led by celebrity team captains, all presented by the television personality Clarissa Dickson-Wright.
The competition will be held on the field between the Temple of the Four Winds and the Mausoleum, giving visitors the rare opportunity to view the spectacular building at close quarters.
