SPIN twins Martin Boocock and Jim Hespe will pose a big threat to York's hopes of victory over Sheffield Collegiate at Clifton Park tomorrow.
An intriguing Yorkshire ECB Premier League fixture is on the cards as Collegiate have been the leading club in the competition over the last decade.
The Abbeydale side will include former Yorkshire and Middlesex batsman Richard Kettleborough.
York's successes this season have been based on control by spin and it will be interesting to see how the contest unfolds as Collegiate have a formidable pair of spinners in leggie Boocock and off-spinner Hespe.
York are fortunate that former Wilberfoss player, Aussie Andy Gray, will not be available for Collegiate, as he is playing for Yorkshire at Northampton.
York will field the same side in Sunday's home replay of their ECB National Club Championship knockout match against Darlington RA except that Tom Pringle will replace Duncan Snell.
Compared with last Sunday when the game was abandoned because of rain, York will be stronger as Marcus Wood returns and seamer Greg How expects to be fit after withdrawing last week with a hamstring niggle. The extra bowler should give York additional flexibility in the field.
