Great Britain orienteering team members Jenny Whitehead (Ebor) and Oli Johnson (South Yorkshire) retained the women's and men's titles at the annual York City Orienteering Trophy competition.
Whitehead won the women's race by a margin of 90 seconds from British team-mates Helen Winskill (South Yorkshire) and Hannah Wootton (Newcastle University).
The junior classes saw a storming run by Alice Leake (Ebor) to win the junior women's event for the first time.
Her time of 22 minutes put
her in second place in the junior men's class and saw her win the junior women's by almost three minutes.
Ben Stevens (Aire) made a strong run to take the junior men's title for the second year running, with his brother George in third place.
There was a strong showing by York-based Ebor runners in both junior classes.
In the junior men's section Luke Pentith won silver, Stuart Hooton was in fourth place, Matthew Edwards (Archbishop Holgate's School) fifth, Tom Anderson sixth, nine-year-old Joshua Cooper (Ebor) seventh and Russel Baldwin (Archbishop Holgate's) ninth.
Seven of the top ten in the junior women's section were from York, five of them from the Ebor club.
The race attracted a high-class field of over 130 runners, with six Great Britain team members and competitors from Ireland and the Czech Republic.
The men's course caught out many competitors, with over 15, including Ebor's Matt Speake, mis-punching a control close to the end of the course.
Speake, in his final year as a junior, was leading by exactly a minute from Johnson when he made the error.
The University of York's Sarah Easterby was 18th on the women's long course and Steve Reid 21st on the men's long course. John Bracegirdle and Samantha Williams were both tenth on the short courses.
Races started from Esplanade car park and took in Micklegate, York Market and Museum Gardens before finishing through the old Queen Anne School grounds, with a one kilometre run-in to finish.
Ed Nash (Newcastle University) won the men's silver medal behind Johnson, with Phil Winskill (South Yorkshire) third.
Top men's Eborienteer was Andy Monro, brother of British No 1 Heather Monro, in fifth place.
Leading junior was Chris Mitchell (Pendle Forest).
Ebor duo Barrie Speake and Frances Prendegast, were top veteran in the men's and women's race respectively.
