AN APPEAL for Christmas gifts or toys for a special Santa basket is being sent out by staff at a York travel agent.
Customers and members of the public are being asked by Travelcare, at Clifton Moor, to donate the gifts which will then be sent to the One Parent Family Charity.
"Christmas is a time for giving and spreading joy," said branch manager Bronwen Hunter. "We're asking people to help us bring cheer to a deserving local child who may be sick or less fortunate then others."
All donations can be taken to the Clifton Moor branch.
