A YOUNG hospital patient helped to present a cheque for £2,500 for new equipment to the nurses who cared for him.
Nine-month-old Jack Wilson returned to the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Friarage Hospital in Northallerton with his parents Annette and John.
The money was raised from various fundraising activities such as raffles, auctions and a collection and will be used for the benefit of some of the hospital's youngest patients.
Sister Anne Wall said: "We are really grateful to Annette for all her efforts and we are delighted to see Jack again looking so well and to receive the cheque from him."
