THE future of Harrogate Railway boss Paul Marshall was shrouded in mystery today after reports the York-based boss had been asked to reapply for his job.
The club's committee met last night to discuss their plans for the future, including the management position at Station View, and the Evening Press has been led to believe that the post will be opened up for people to apply - including Marshall himself.
Marshall had led the club to the second round proper of the FA Cup and victory over runaway Northern Counties East League premier division champions Bridlington to win the President's Cup last season.
However, a fall-out over the FA Cup bonuses saw Marshall, the management and players go on strike and although harmony was restored publicly, it seems the committee have not forgotten.
