TEACHERS from Norway are to visit East Yorkshire to get a lesson in education.
Pocklington Montessori School will welcome 12 Norwegian teachers into their classrooms, nurseries and Mini Monty baby and toddler centre on Monday.
The visit has been organised in association with the University of York, and the school believes a sharing of cultures through music, literature, poetry and dance will benefit both children and staff.
The visiting teachers will spend the entire day in a class of their choosing and it is hoped their time with the school will teach them all about the Montessori Method of Education.
If the visit is successful Montessori teachers from Britain could visit Norway.
