VISITORS to York will see an unusual collection of characters this summer, including Mozart, a muddled businessman and one of the Bront sisters.
The characters are here on business - appearing at York Theatre Royal this summer.
The new season will kick off with a comedy about a set of confused businessmen lost in the wilderness of the Lake District. The clueless entrepreneurs can be seen in Neville's Island which runs from June 6 to 28.
The laughs will continue into July with Withering Looks, a humorous take on the Bronte sisters by Lipservice. The production will start on July 1 and end on July 5.
Audiences can catch the Theatre Royal's production of the multi award-winning thriller Amadeus, about Mozart, from July 18 to July 19. Other highlights this season include Hull Truck's, Reunion, and TV personality Clive James and his old song-writing partner, Pete Atkin.
