CERAMIC pots created by one of Britain's finest ceramic artists were going on show in York.
Gabriele Koch's work is being displayed at an exhibition in the Yorkshire Museum.
It was brought to the city with the aid of a grant from the Arts Council Yorkshire.
The ceramics will be shown in the St Mary's Abbey Gallery, with the impressive backdrop of the historic abbey's ruins.
Today sees a special preview of the display, which will continue until June 29. It was brought to York through a partnership between the Yorkshire Museums Trust and European Ceramics of Knaresborough.
