Joint leaders Mitre were three adrift against Mount, who had good games from Chris Manners and Nick Harteveld (180). However, Mitre picked up the remaining six which saw John Pickering produce a telling 14 darts and Andy Lawson a 180 score.
Woodman's Tony Raymond gamed in 16 darts, but Slipper eased to a 6-3 win, Steve Reynolds regaining the balance with an excellent 18-darter.
Phoenix pipped Cygnet 5-4 with Darren Bailey winning in 19 and Jim Wallis found 21 before partnering John Smith to the decider.
Frank Cartin showed old magic to game in 20 and a 7-2 over Woolpack sees Three Cranes top division two.
On their tails are Ebor, who had Brent Conland shining as they took the first five at Clifton 'B', and Huntington 'A' who won within the singles, Tony Brown and Neil Fairclough to the fore.
Steve Richardson (180) stood out, but Crescent were crushed 6-3 by Hospital Social Club, whose best performer was Keith Watkinson (20), while Steve Parkinson helped Leeman take the spoils against Yearsley whose lone singles success was Tracy Merrills.
Reindeer have the division three lead as Bob Rochester rallied the side to victory at Little John whose point was taken by Darren Griffiths.
Burton's best player in a 6-3 win at Bay Horse 'B' was Neil Dunning.
