AN OPTICIANS in Pocklington has celebrated opening a larger new look store.
Specsavers opticians in Market Place, Pocklington, has expanded with a new sight-testing facility on its lower floor and a larger amount of stock.
To mark its expansion the store, which first opened in the town last summer, threw a party for the people of Pocklington.
There was a jazz band playing outside the store and brave visitors had their caricature done in exchange for a donation to Sight Savers International.
Store director Rob Winlow said: "We wanted to throw a party to thank all our customers for their support and to give them a tour of our new store."
