I WISH to contact some citizens of York who were so helpful to my family last Friday.
My ten-year-old son was involved in a bicycle accident on the cycle paths near Knavesmire and the assistance we received from a number of people helped us through a worrying time.
After the event we felt guilty at not thanking those who helped us.
So to the workforce at Terry's factory, the two men on bikes who helped with First Aid and contacted my wife, the jogger who chased the ambulance, hospital and ambulance staff I say thank you. My son has fully recovered and is back on his bike!

...AN unknown woman handed my pension and books into the Netto store after I lost them. Who says there are no decent people out there?
It contained almost £150, and I got it all back. I have left £20 with the Netto checkout girl who knows you; but I should like to thank you personally if you get in touch.
