NORTH Yorkshire children are getting their dancing shoes on ahead of Mayday celebrations.
More than 20 youngsters from Sinnington Primary School, pictured, will perform maypole, clog and stick dancing on Bank Holiday Monday.
The children, who are all aged between seven and ten, have been practising since February.
They all volunteered to take part in the dancing, which will form part of Sinnington village fair, and have been trained by parents.
Maypole dancing will also take place in Slingsby village on Bank Holiday Monday.
