HORSE enthusiasts are to be given an unusual opportunity to test their skills next week at a York car dealers.
Young fans have been invited to try out the "Triggerthon" at John Gill Ltd at Monks Cross on Tuesday.
"Trigger" is an electronic horse who tests his riders' skills with jumps and jolts similar to those of a real horse.
He will appear at the Jeep Chrysler dealer on a journey from John O'Groats to Land's End, thanks to car makers Jeep. Trigger will form the centre of a family fun day at the dealership, between 4pm and 9pm.
Refreshments, face-painting and a balloon maker will also feature at the event.
There will also be a riding teacher from Friars' Hill Riding School at Sinnington to tutor young riders.
The dealership will also donate £10 to Marie Curie Cancer Relief for every test drive booked on the day at the dealership.
