THE Yorvik branch of the Morris Minor Owners club will be holding its annual fundraising car boot and fete at The Lodge, 302 Strensall Road, Earswick, York, on Saturday, May 10, from 10am to 2pm.
Lots of historic cars will be on display as well as many bargains. There will be a silent auction, lawn darts tournament, and the usual cake stall and tombola, plus much more. This year the club is raising funds for Macmillan nurses in the York area, but, as always, proceeds from the fete will be split with Christian Aid.
Other charities are welcome to come along with a stall for free.
This year the club is also running a bring-and-buy plant stall at The Lodge. It is open until the end of Christian Aid week on May 10 - or until it runs out of plants.
