Drax 'B' thumped Huntington 'A' 8-1 with Sue Matchett and Graeme Campbell taking their allocation in straight sets for a return of 90-45.
Paul Moisley and Angela Hobman picked up the consolation with a 6-15 15-6 15-5 win over Dave Hearn and Alison Dinsdale.
Shepherds scored a vital 9-0 win over Selby Jubilee 'A' in mixed three with Dave Simpson and Chiara Secchi gained a trio of victories for 90-50. Peter Murphy and Jo Sherwin played well for Jubilee without success.
York RI Tuesday/Thursday 'A' put in a good display to beat Drax 'D' 8-1.
Lynsey O'Neill and Mike Corley led the way with three wins for 90-33, while Anthony Boyes and Di McKechnie took the Drax consolation with a 15-10 7-15 17-14 over Ian Sinker and Marlene Woodward.
Drax 'D' suffered a further reverse when they lost 5-4 at St John's
Boyes and McKechnie won two rubbers for Drax but were beaten 13 and 11 by Dave Dearsley and Lindsay Spicer, who went on to win the match with a 10 and 7 triumph over Ken Walker and Janet Conyers.
York RI Tuesday/Thursday 'A' followed up their win over Drax with a 7-2 win at YUSC 'A'.
Sally Locker and Simon Fletcher took both University Staff Club victories, but lost out 5 and 6 to the in-form pairing of O'Neill and Corley who amassed 90-35.

Terrys travelled to Scarthingwell and were pushed hard before winning 6-3.
Scarthingwell's John Taylor and Helen Rooklidge took two home wins in a good display, but lost out 14-15 7-15 to Yvonne Forman and David Walker, who took all three wins for 92-60.
