A GIANT mouse has taken to the streets to raise awareness for charity.
Miles the Mouse has travelled all over North and East Yorkshire to raise money and awareness for the Macmillan Miles Challenge, which supports cancer care.
Malton, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington have all seen visits from the cuddly visitor, with more expected across the region over leading up to the event.
The charity campaign, which will be run from May 18-25, will encourage volunteers to do lots of sponsored miles - in any way they choose. Walking, running, swimming and cycling are the most common options, but for a fun twist try leap-frogging, line dancing or eating a mile of spaghetti.
Spokeswoman Joanne Watson said: "Really people are only limited by their imaginations, we can't wait to hear of the most imaginative way of having miles of fun.
"Teams are also welcomed, it really is the more the merrier."
To take part, phone the Macmillan Miles helpline on 0845 6021490.
