I WAS amused to read Martin Lacy's wine features, "Riesling stars, (Weekender, April 26).
What is wine coming to when the descriptive words "aroma and taste of petrol" flows from Martin's pen like four star?
Every other Riesling seemed to have petrol overtones, leaving one to believe that perhaps the latest petrol price war has something to do with it.
Has OPEC increased its profit margin by making wine from petrol?
