LAST year you printed my letter "I was treated like a VIP" in praise of York Hospital. Since then I have revisited Ward 27 four times for more eye treatment.
Again, I should I would like to take this opportunity to express my most sincere thanks.
In my last letter I was remiss not to include the dedicated staff of the operating theatre who made me feel at ease every time we met. I must also include the Eye Clinic, whose staff walk miles backwards and forwards ushering patients into comfortable seats and then manage to keep their cool dealing with many of the more impatient patients.
York Hospital can be very proud of its staff and when the millions spent on further improvements are finished then York and surrounding areas can be even more proud of our hospital.
Dennis Barton,
Acorn Way,
York.
