Elvington Harriers are not completely safe from the threat of division two relegation after losing 5-2 at home to Heslington despite two goals from Luke Dove.
Easingwold managed a point which might just be enough to avoid the drop with a 2-2 draw with Poppleton. Paul Rhodes put Easingwold in front but Simon Hunt (penalty) and Matthew Woodcock put Poppleton ahead before Rhodes hit his second to claim the vital point.
Stillington came from 5-2 down at Hamilton Panthers with 15 minutes remaining to grab a point in an amazing 7-7 draw.
Hamilton Panthers were crowned champions after a 2-0 win at their nearest rivals Stamford Bridge. Stamford must now win their last game against relegation-threatened LNER Builders to ensure a promotion place.
Wilberfoss need two points from their last three games to clinch the division three title.
Dave Bailes put them in front at Wheldrake in the first half and Lee Wiper added two more after the break. Adrian Ogden pulled one back for Wheldrake.
Selby RSSC need to win all their remaining three games and see Wilberfoss slip up in order to snatch the title but they are the current form team. Their latest victims were Strensall who went down 2-1 to goals from Gordon Campbell and Andrew Jones.
Rawcliffe Rangers lost 1-0 Norton when Scott Tomlinson netted ten minutes from time and they now need to win their last two games to avoid having to apply for re-election.
