DIVISION five favourites Selby ran riot against an eight-man New Earswick team and recorded a 174-run victory after making 251-4 before declaring after 41 overs.
Steve Spence was a casualty after making 49 but Matt Hoyle (56) and Kevin Lamb then added 142 for the third wicket with Lamb missing out on a century when he was dismissed for 99. Earswick then crumbled to 77 all out.
Rowntrees fielded only ten men, which included one of the club's umpires and two of their scorers.
But the makeshift side gave a creditable performance before suffering defeat in heavy rain against Stamford Bridge.
Rowntrees made 155-5 and fell to a six-wicket defeat after a decisive partnership between Brian Aconley (79no) and Richard Cuthbertson (45).
At Carlton Towers, Darren Graves made 60 and Matthew Holmes 37 to raise a home score of 155-4. Ian Dawson replied with 55 for Tadcaster Magnet, who finished at 132-9.
Mark Hayter hit 64 in a Dringhouses score of 128-8 against Pocklington, for whom Simon Hill took 5-35 and Mal Harrison 3-40. Brendon Walsh (5-37) and Dave Storr (3-51) almost bowled the York side to victory but Pocklington lurched to a one-wicket victory.
There was another one-wicket win at Hovingham where the home side just had the edge over Thirsk, who made just 102.
Jason Dale and Mark Hemming-way had identical figures of 3-23 while Tom Lumb had 3-39. Andrew Young responded with 4-55 but Hemmingway (30) and Dale (24) were again to the fore as Hovingham reached 103-9.
Keith Till hit an unbeaten 107 and Richard Ormston made 46no as the pair rescued Sessay from a poor start against Huntington, the hosts closing on 194-4. Huntington had struggled to 87-8 when rain stopped play.
