EXETER City arrive at Bootham Crescent confident they can upset the Minstermen's play-off charge and move a giant step closer to securing their own League status.
The Grecians remain in the Division Three drop zone but Easter Monday's 1-0 win over fellow strugglers Swansea lifted Exeter off the bottom of the League.
It also lifted the gloom at St James' Park after a run of five games without a win.
The confidence surging through the Grecians was epitomised by veteran striker Steve Flack.
"If we can get a win against York we are in a good position," said Flack.
He also praised new boss Gary Peters - Exeter's third manager of the season - for giving the squad the stability and confidence to keep battling.
"There's been a lot of upheaval this year - with so many players coming in on loan," he added. "But Gary Peters has added more stability and we have a more settled squad."
Peters is likely to keep faith with the side that secured the win at Swansea.
However, Brazilian defender Santos Gaia could revert back to central defence after playing at left-back on Monday.
Currently wearing a special mask to protect a broken cheekbone, Gaia also had two injections ahead of the game at Vetch Field to numb a knee problem.
