PETE McNichol shot a splendid 17 darts in York John Smith's Men's League division two.
Aided by Ged McMahon (180) and Barry McLaughlin, Swan registered a 6-3 win at Old Ebor to boast the league's only 100 per cent record.
Kevin Pallister hit a fine 106 finish in the decider to give Green Tree 'A' the match points, but Slip 'B' had already done enough with Phil Smith and Garry Strider sealing the aggregate.
Osbaldwick whitewashed Sun 'B', Steve Machean giving his usual steady performance, while a big win from Pete Ella helped to save Slip 'A' the aggregate against Flag and Whistle who won 5-4, Steve Foster-Keith Allan taking the winner.
Ian Hartley, and big wins from Derek Hartley and Keith Graham-Doug Bidgood, pushed Cygnet 'B' to a 7-2 win at Institute 'A'.
In division one Dave Gibbons led Cygnet 'A' off with 20 darts and was well supported by Jack White to beat Blacksmith's 6-3. Glyn Jefferey and Lee Mason, who had to overcome heavy 100, 100, 100 and 140 scoring by John Mooring gave the best replies.
Rich Plummer and Ron Simpson (180) steered Bay Horse to a 5-4 victory over Dringhouses. However, good wins from Barry Noble (20), Pete Langan and Noble-Mick Coupland saved the extra point.
A 109 finish from Mark Addinall and 180 from Graham Wilkinson pushed Rose and Crown to 5-4 win over Saddle, whose Andy King gamed in 21 darts.
Heath Scaife (21), well-supported by Chas Ramsden and Kev Walton led Shepherd to a 6-3 win over Green Tree 'B'. Darren Hawcroft and Gary Kynman shone as Poacheer beat Holgate 7-2.
Cue Ball, with Dave Endeacott and a good pair game from Endeacott-Gary Scott, beat Sun 'A' 6-3.
Martyn Turner (18, 21) put Clifton 3-1 up and seemingly well on the way to a York Unique-Phoenix League victory.
However, Dave Gibbons (19) and Tony Cooper (18, 21) levelled and Chris Thompson gave Sun, Acomb victory with a fine 18-darter.
Graham Sanderson (Clifton) was a 180 scorer.
Paul Cooper checked 110 for 18 darts but Cygnet 'B' went down 5-2 to their 'A' side, who had 180 and 17 darts from Pete Leake and 21, 18 from David Mason.
Andy Morton took Acomb's match-winner at Rose and Crown whose singles point was provided by Ged McMahon.
Slipper's Paul Partridge (21) played well but not good enough to contain Bishopthorpe's Tony Raymond (20, 16). But, Rob Platt replied with 180 for 21, then 18 darts to secure Slipper a 4-3 win.
John Smith (20, 19) took Mitre 'A' to 3-2 up at Shepherd but Mick Willsden beat Darren Bailey (21) and Shepherd were level. Jim Wallis pulled out a fine 20 darts to give Mitre the decider.
Paul Robinson (180), and a superb Mark Hartley (180)-Colin Rowntree 701 in 20 darts, put Phoenix 'A' in the driving seat over their 'B' team whose win was registered by Karen Richardson-Jane Dobson.
Glenn Brown (20) showed up best in Alice Hawthorn's 6-1 success against Sun, Long Marston, whose winner was Ron Kitchen.
Pete West shot 20 darts and Charlie Goldsmith gave Holgate a 4-3 success over Lord Nelson, who had a 96 on bullseye check from Nick Davis.
Old Ebor went 3-2 up with a good Claire Robinson effort but Blacksmith's equalised with Tom Hair and Tony Brown stepped up to settle the decider.
Syd Smaller, based south of the Humber and who has the distinction of being the first player to record a perfect nine-dart 501 in York area competition, won the John Smith's Brewery-sponsored Escrick Open.
After beating Allan Galley 3-2 in the semi-final, Smaller clinched the top prize with a 3-2 scoreline over Barry Noble, who included a brilliant 18-dart doubles-board game.
Noble's semi victory was also 3-2 over Thirsk's Simon Craven.
