MILLS Group, one of the North's leading newsagent and convenience store companies, has expanded into Harrogate as part of a major national development plan, bringing its total number of stores up to 57.
The company is investing more than £200,000 into the complete refurbishment of two stores on Knaresborough Road and Devonshire Place, bringing the Harrogate stores in line with Mills' corporate image.
As part of the refurbishment the stores will introduce extra services, such as cashpoints, to meet local demand. Mills also plans to extend the opening hours of the two new stores to provide a better service to the local community.
The two new Mills stores will provide a full range of services and products, including an in-store video-rental business - Hollywood Nights, and Wines Of The World off-licence.
