QUESTIONS Answered, the York-based research and marketing agency, has relocated its entire operation, including more than 85 staff, to a new HQ in the city.
After six years it has moved from Tower Street to a new home at Brackenhill, in St George's Place, close to York Racecourse. At 8,000 sq ft it is double the size of the city centre offices and the lease is for ten years.
Peter Harrington, 46-year-old managing director, who 14 years ago started the firm on his own, paying £26 a month rent for a single room at the Young Business Project, in Fishergate, York, said the extra space at Brackenhill would mean that all staff could now be under one roof.
"Since we now have more than 350 clients nationwide, we desperately needed these additional resources to provide the highest level of service quality.
"One particular boost for the company is the increased capacity of our own in-house telephone research centre, which now has more than 30 dedicated lines."
It will also mean upgraded technical systems to include digital phones for all staff.
The Fishergate beginnings was the ideal venue for the young entrepreneur, he said.
"But my ambition has always been to grow Questions Answered, learn new skills and expand a business where more and more people can develop as well.
"That's why I'm delighted we've moved here. Brackenhill gives us the space and facilities to provide improved research and marketing services to clients, which is so important considering the growing demands business environment."
