Thorpe United completed their Leeper Hare York and District League division one season by taking a point off leaders Wigginton Black Horse, who had to put their promotion celebrations on ice.
Thorpe led 3-1 at half-time but after the interval Jamie Seal netted his second goal to keep Black Horse in the game and Paul Pemberton scored a last-minute equaliser.
Copmanthorpe were five up against visitors Haxby & Wigginton by half-time thanks to strikes by Kieron Darlow (2), Terry Hibbert, Mark Flood and Graeme Butcher. There were no goals in the second half.
T&L Selby ensured that things would go right to the wire with a 2-0 win at relegated Fulford, and Post Office are still in there after a 4-1 win at South Bank. Richard Dalby (2), an own goal and a Mike Heels effort which found the net direct from a corner produced the win.
Norwich Union drew 4-4 with St John's College. James Hutt, Matt Hildon (2) and Chris Long scored for Norwich Union, Dale Mordue (2), Neil Latcham and Paul Thompson replying for the Students. That point should just about ensure Norwich Union's survival in division one, but they need one more point from their last game to make sure.
Lee Metcalfe, Phil Hart and Luke Burton gave New Earswick a 3-1 derby win against Haxby.
