A YORK hospice is appealing for a big yellow teapot to help promote its latest fundraising campaign.
The request comes from Helen Moreton, community fundraiser at St Leonard's Hospice. She is hoping to take the teapot - the plastic sort that children play with - to venues in York and the surrounding area in May to advertise the Tea At Three campaign in June.
Individuals, groups of friends, companies or organisations are being asked to organise a fundraising tea party, at 3pm, on June 20. Helen said: "Yellow is the special hospice colour, so we thought a big yellow teapot would be ideal for our publicity.
"Unfortunately, all we have at the moment is a tiny teapot.
"If anyone has one they could lend us, we'd be delighted to hear from them.'
Anyone who can help should phone Helen on 01904 781576.
