TODAY'S Queen's Awards For Enterprise highlight the remarkable diversity of North Yorkshire's business sector. One award went to a pioneering travel firm, which offers personal customer service.
Another was presented to an electronics company which makes undersea computer systems. And a third was handed over to a food giant for producing the "ultimate frozen chip".
So what do these firms have in common? Two things. Firstly, a commitment to innovation, which is the lifeblood of the local economy. And secondly, our congratulations.
