YOUNGSTERS strutted their stuff in a 12-hour disco dance to raise money for their dance club.
Members of Club 68, based in Monkton Road, York, organised the event as part of a fundraising rally to finance costumes and entry to regional and national competitions.
Dancers, aged between three and 18, joined forces with their parents to organise the events over the last few weeks. They included a fancy dress day on the streets of York.
Cash raised will pay for costumes, competition entry and coach travel.
Pam Woodall, whose daughter, Karina, 14, dances with the club, said: "We set up a fundraising committee a few months ago. We really try to keep the costs down because some parents can't afford costume and competition costs and we don't want the kids to lose out."
Club 68 celebrates its tenth anniversary later this year, and the committee is searching for a venue to stage a show.
Club 68 meets every Friday between 5pm and 6.30pm at the 68 Centre, Monkton Road.
