AS a believer in every person's right to freedom of choice, I admire Jennifer and Robert Stokes (April 15). They chose a comfortable, convenient death in Swiss euthanasia premises.
Mr and Mrs Stokes didn't, it seems, tell family or friends of their intentions. That suggests they expected opposition to their plans.
While I understand the shock of relatives and others to the suddenness of the deaths, I see no reason to criticise the services offered by the Dignitas organisation.
Jennifer and Robert Stokes exercised their right to freedom of choice to the ultimate.
