Residents of Ripon are being asked to give their views on the new traffic-calming plans for Harrogate Road, near Moorside School.
The plans include moving the speed cushions closer to the centre of the roads, to prevent people from driving in between them. Other measures include replacing existing speed cushions with speed tables. While these measures will discourage drivers from using the centre of the road, speed tables will also reduce the comfort of bus passengers and cause more noise from commercial vehicles.
The plans are available for viewing in the County Council library until May 9.
