With a name like this and summer in sight, you'd expect this to be a trite compilation of drive-time beach music.
Thankfully, it's not. This US four-piece comes from the box marked punk revival - but these are truer in spirit than most.
Comparisons are easy to make but limited in use. Sure, you could mention Talking Heads, but these guys are closer to early Heads, when moments of genius such as Psycho Killer bubbled up from a sometimes confused mess.
Awkward and angular, the best thing about this album is its unpredictability - you don't know what's coming next. Make a note of their May 6 gig at the Cockpit in Leeds; seen live, this lot could be something very special. Rubbish name, though.
