TOMORROW'S John Smith Good Friday Pocklington Sevens will kick-off an Easter weekend of rugby at the Percy Road club, writes Tony Curtis.
With temperatures set to sore, a bumper crowd is expected to turnout for the 45th Pock Sevens, with a number of the area's leading teams and players taking part.
However, the next generation of stars will get into the act too on Sunday when they hold their own version of the popular competition for Under-13s, Under-14s and Under-15s (kick-off 10.30am) in aid of Martin House Children's Hospice.
Tomorrow's action, by far Pocklington's biggest sporting event of the year, kicks-off at 1pm and will see a six-hour feast of rugby action.
The Impalas will be out to defend their title, with Gary Pearce's Hull side determined to make amends for last season's final defeat.
