A STORY in the Evening Press has led to a group of former Queen Anne Grammar School pupils meeting again for the first time in more than 50 years.
Dorothy Marshall, who now lives in America, contacted the Evening Press two years ago to ask if we could publish an appeal for her fellow pupils to get in contact.
Dorothy had discovered the school had closed and was keen, along with another pupil, Jean Garrick, to organise a reunion.
She received two letters from pupils was able to contact almost all of the remaining pupils in her class.
The women, many of who had not seen each other for more than 50 years, met up at Bedern Hall.
Dorothy said: "We were thrilled to find so many people, it is great and just wonderful to see everyone."
