Selby Town had a frustrating afternoon when they lost 1-0 to Thackley in the Northern Counties East League premier division at Flaxley Road.
The only goal of the game came after just two minutes when former Harrogate Town and Harrogate Railway striker Darron Morris scored from close range following a corner.
The rest of the half saw Selby on top with Stuart Lee firing just wide and Andy Cygan had a header well saved by Crowley.
The second half followed the same pattern with the Robins unable to turn their superiority into goals.
Kris Baxter went close and Crowley made more good saves.
Selby were reduced to ten men in the 81st-minute when Nigel Croad was sent off after collecting his second yellow card.
Selby are in league action at Flaxley Road tomorrow when second-placed Goole are the visitors. (kick-off 7.45pm).
Harrogate Railway went down to a late 4-3 defeat against Liversedge.
Rail twice led at 1-0 and 3-2, only for Liversedge to strike back and snatch all three points - Aiden Schofield netting the winner.
Ian McLean (2) and Andy Sunley had scored for Rail, who are back in action tomorrow night against Arnold.
Pickering Town went down to a 1-0 defeat against Arnold.
A penalty from John Boulter ten minutes before the break setteld the tie.
In NCEL division one, Tadcaster Albion pulled off a shock result as they hammared Maltby Main 6-1.
Taddy, who have struggled to find any consistency in front of goal this season, finally found their form to record a super win.
Harrogate Town defender Mick McNaughton is starting to gain a reputation as a formidable front-man after the former Scarborough player grabbed his second goal in a week.
Having netted against Blyth in the 3-1 midweek victory in his role as emergency striker, McNaughton added to his tally with the only goal of Town's 1-0 UniBond League premier division win over Frickley.
McNaughton, again asked to partner skipper Robbie Whellans in attack, powered a header home after 29 minutes to settle the tie.
