YORK City fans, players and management will be keeping a watchful eye on tonight's Division Three clash between Shrewsbury and Wrexham, writes Tony Curtis.
Having fallen a number of games behind their promotion rivals, Wrexham could leap into the automatic promotion spots should they win the last of their rearranged fixtures at Gay Meadow.
However, City, who are level on points with the Welshmen in sixth spot but have played one more game, will be hoping relegation-threatened Shrewsbury can pull off a surprise result.
Meanwhile, the Minstermen have plumped for youth in their Avon Insurance League division one east trip to Scarborough this afternoon.
Only Craig Wilding and Stuart Wise have first team playing experience, although both keepers, John Collinson and David Stockdale, have been part of the squad this season.
Reserves from: Collinson, Law, Baynes, McKenzie, Anderson, Wise, McCabe, Arthur, Wilding, Stewart, Davies, Stockdale, Haw.
