TWO of the places in the RJF Homes Beckett League's Victory Cup competition between the four teams who finish in the top four in division one are still up for grabs.
Kirkdale United, the division one leaders, and Duncombe Park, in second place, are definitely in the draw for the Victory Cup semi-finals.
The other two places are between Kirkbymoorside Reserves, Black Swan Pickering, and Sinnington.
Once the league is sure of who three of the four clubs are they will make the draw for the Victory Cup and also the Marisa Sports Trophy competition involving teams below the top four.
Kirkbymoorside Reserves beat a weakened Union Rovers side 7-0 in division one last Saturday after leading 5-0 at half-time. Chris Hodgson scored a hat-trick while Andrew Ferguson and Tom Gill got two goals each.
Old Malton 3rd's and Duncombe Park drew 0-0. Old Malton started the better of the two sides but Duncombe Park finished the stronger, having most chances as they hit they woodwork four times.
Sinnington beat Rosedale 2-0 with a goal in each half. Paul Harland got the first and Stuart Harland the second.
In division two, Ryedale Sports Club Reserves scored a shock 3-0 win away to se3cond-placed Thornton-le-Dale.
Ryedale took the lead after ten minutes when Nick Woodhead crossed for John reed to score with a header. Five minutes later Shaun Hornby got the second goal, with a 35-yard chip over Stuart Hill.
Towards half-time Thornton-le-Dale had six successive corners but Ryedale 'keeper Danny Johnson dealt with them.
Thornton-le-Dale stepped up a gear in the second half but Ryedale defend well and substitute Andy Best scored their third goal late in the game.
James Cook gave Gillamoor the lead in the first half at home to Coxwold after good work by Same Robinson. Be Gallon equalised in the second half.
Ampleforth were unable to raise a team to play away to Pickering Royal Oak, who last Thursday night beat Thornton-le-Dale 5-2 in front of a large crowd.
Richard Pugh got two of Royal Oak's goals, with Alex MacRae, Nick Wilkinson and Matthew Wilkinson scoring one each. Jeff Quilter and Tom Atkinson scored for Thornton-le-Dale.
