CHLOE Hill, 12, from York took fourth place in the Dengie Pony Club Winter League Show-Jumping Championships at Moreton Morrell, Warwickshire.
Chloe, a pupil at Malton School and member of the Derwent Hunt Pony Club, was riding her pony Wispa Gold, who she has owned for four years. This was the first time the pair have competed at the final.
The Dengie Pony Club Winter League Show-jumping Competition was inaugurated in 1995 to encourage the grass-roots members of the Pony Club to improve their ability and gain experience of show-jumping.
There were over 4,000 qualifying rounds jumped between October and February at 120 show centres around the United Kingdom with just 84 contenders for the final.
