CARING customers at a York pub are getting on their bikes for charity at a 24-hour fundraising bikeathon.
Staff and regulars at the Cross Keys, in Goodramgate, will start the mammoth pedal push tomorrow.
They are raising money for the Jane Tomlinson appeal, in aid of cancer care.
Staff at the Fitness First centre, in Clifton Moor, have backed the event and have loaned the pub an exercise bike.
Chris Newsham, Fitness First front of house manager, said: "We hope it goes really well and are wishing them lots of luck."
Superwoman Jane Tomlinson is well known as the first terminally ill competitor to complete the Great North Run, the London Marathon and the London Triathlon. Her fundraising efforts have raised more than £100,000 for Cancer Research UK.
To support the charity cyclists, or make a donation, call in at the Cross Keys tomorrow or phone 01904 686941.
