It was Goldrush Lake that took the honours once again in Saturday's 50-peg sell-out Bob.Co open at the Willows.
Tony Hewson (Armley Angling) led from peg 39 on the point with a fine mixed bag of 40lb 8oz (picture attached).
He rang the changes to keep carp to 3lb plus ide and tench coming offering pellet up in the water and at depth in both open water and to the island.
Dave Cheetham (Castleford) was on peg 47 on the same lake and alternated maggot and pellet to an island for 35lb 5oz of carp, chub and ide.
Best weight on Ridge Pool was taken by Charlie Moran (Colmic Ossett) who had 28lb of quality carp to pole and worm from peg 14.
Others: Phil Austin (Barlby Village Stores) 25-8-0; Dave Pollitt (Hirst Tackle) 25-0-0; Steve Raper (Hirst Tackle) 24-7-0.
Sunday's open at Poppleton Ponds saw Martin Green (Armley Angling) top the 30-entry with 32lb 8oz.
Offering pole and pellet at 14 metres tight to the island, he bagged small carp steadily throughout from peg 9.
On peg 32, Martin Dunlop (Shimano Quaker Match Group) used pole and maggot to the far side for his all carp net of 30lb 4oz

Horseshoe Lake basked in the spring sunshine at Raker Lakes on Sunday and the fish responded accordingly with most of the 30-peg sell-out bagging double figures or better.
