YORK mother and daughter Nellie and Georgina Barber are flying the flag for "our boys" in Iraq - by wearing special badges wherever they go.
Georgina, who lives in Hawthorn Avenue, New Earswick, said the white badges proclaim the message "I Support Our Troops," above a Union Flag.
She said she had got the badges when her soldier son had been out in Bosnia a few years ago.
She had kept them and then got them out for her and her mother Nellie to wear again once the war started in Iraq, even though her son was not involved in this conflict.
"I just wanted to show support for the troops," she said.
