SHE'S looped the loop, walked the wing of a flying Tiger Moth and now here is Charlotte Bridges, of York, plummeting earthwards in freefall.
Charlotte, 24, is based at Imphal Baracks, York, as business development manager of Lex Defence, which provides vehicles for the Ministry of Defence, and her organisation is sponsoring the Silver Stars freefall parachute display team, one of whom - Cpl Aron Jones - is seen accompanying her on the way down.
By making the 10,000 ft leap over South Cerney, Cirencester, Charlotte raised more than £900 to buy a computer for the 1323 Ryedale Squadron of the Air Training Corps, based in Norton, where she is a civilian instructor.
Charlotte, who lives in Walmgate, York, says she is used to heights - not just because she is 6ft 1 in tall, but also because she when she was an air cadet she loved looping the loop in aircraft flown by RAF pilots.
