SCRUM-HALF Matthew Smith was the toast of Selby today.
He scored four tries as his side swamped Yorkshire One bottom club Sheffield Tigers 37-6 at Sandhill Lane.
The darting Smith was in prime form with his will o'the wisp running. Other Selby tries were scored by Richard Taylor and the powerful Tony Godfrey. Will Jordan kicked two conversions and a penalty.
Selby have had the Indian Sign on York in recent matches so their clash at Clifton Park on April 12 will have extra spice with York needing victory to possibly claim the title if Brid slip up at home to North Ribbledale.
The final set of Yorkshire One fixtures on April 12 are: Bridlington v North Ribblesdale, Huddersfield YMCA v Old Crossleyans, Sheffield Tigers v Old Brodleians, Wheatley Hills v Dinnington, Yarnbury v Pontefract, York v Selby.
