NESTLE Rowntree extended their unbeaten run to six games by beating Ripon Wakemen 17-3 at Mille Crux.
It is a measure of how much 'Trees have improved as they lost to the Wakemen by 50 points in October.
The York-based side produced a great defensive effort in whch centres Harry Seagrave and John Atkin stood out as they denied their lively opposite numbers any space.
An even first half saw both sides kick a penalty each but it was a different story in the second half with strong driving forward play by Rowntree producing a try under the posts for Rob Sellers.
With ten minutes remaining good handling produced a try for Atkin for the fourth consecutive game. Ivor Jackson converted from the touchline.
