A NORTH Yorkshire city is promising visitors more to do and see than ever before.
The 2003 calendar of events for Ripon is the biggest and best ever, according to the Ripon City Partnership.
New for this year is the Thorpe Prebend House, which narrates the story of Ripon Cathedral and the city.
There is also a chance to look around the Yorkshire Law Museum, where visitors can spend time in Victorian cells and try on period police uniforms. There is also a spring fair, craft and farmers' market, the busking festival and Ripon International Festival.
Jonathan Beer, from the partnership, said: "The new developments, when added to Ripon's existing attractions and experiences, mean that the city is offering more to visitors now than ever before."
