JEZ Petch shone as New Ears-wick beat Heworth 'A' 42-8 in the York and District Cup.
Adie Robinson's fine try on 16 minutes was sandwiched by two Heworth penalties before the All Blacks cut loose.
Petch crashed over, and then Matt Godfrey raced in after Heworth had failed to deal with a kick.
Jojo Hnesh, who just missed out on the Yorkshire 17 for their Roses match against Lancashire, gave Petch his second try after the break before Godfrey got his second after Lee Nelson had been held up after a great run.
Heworth, who battled all game, then got their only try, through Watkinson.
Simon Baynes and Dan Wellard set up Nelson to race 30 yards before Petch was denied a 50-yard hat-trick score by a forward pass. The scoring ended when Steve Harris put in Alan Pallister, with Robinson kicking his seventh goal.
